Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is one of the most popular lodges on the Sabi Sabi Reserve. An unfenced resort set within an unspoilt bushveld in the heart of Africa – this resort brings safari escapes to a whole new level. Guests are housed in 1 of 25 suites which feature luxurious fittings and African décor or the presidential suite which offers unbridled luxury and romance. The lodge features a friendly outdoor dining boma, a pool, the EleFun children’s centre and the first-class Amani Spa. Guests can enjoy a daily walking safari plus two game drives a day where animals such as elephants, lions and rhinos can be spotted.

Dining
Meals at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge are announced by a blast on the kudu horn. Dinner at the lodge is served al fresco, in the dining boma where guests can mingle and share stories of their safaris so far.

Sabi Sabi is home to over 200 mammal and 300 bird species, including the Big 5 and animals such as cheetahs and wild dogs. Here at Sabi Sabi guests can see a multitude of animals, plants and insects in their natural habitat plus a few which are rare and endangered.

  • Safari game drives are run twice daily, in early morning and late afternoon/evening – the best times to see the animals.
  • All safaris are conducted in open Land Rovers with highly skilled and trained field guides.
  • Safaris last around three hours.
  • Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge also offers mid-morning safari walks where guests spend around two hours in the African bush with an armed ranger, getting up close and personal with the flora and fauna.

EleFun Centre

Location

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is a part of the Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve which in turn is situated within one of the oldest, largest and most diverse private reserves in Africa – the Sabi Sand Wildtuin. The game reserve is placed adjacent to the Kruger National park and is in a largely unspoilt part of Africa. There are complimentary transfers available from the Sabi Sabi airstrip to the lodges.
