Situated in the renowned big five region of Madikwe Game Reserve, a 75,000-hectare, malaria-free protected area this exclusive lodge offers superior accommodation and fantastic game drive experiences. Game drives are on offer in the morning and afternoon and walking safaris are also an option; for children there are special activities to help them get the most from their visit. Lodges feature wrap-around decks offering stunning views across the reserve and it's wildlife as well as double bath tubs and retractable doors and windows.

These peaceful and private suites are decorated in an African style with timber, warm colours. Each has a lounge and dining area, gas fireplace an an oversized bath with great views and an outside rock shower.
Each suite had outdoor rock showers and wrap around decks which face a stunning valley frequented by a range of wildlife night and day. There is a double-size bathtub and a fireplace in both the bathroom and bedroom.

Tuningi Lodge welcomes families with children of all ages and offers the following facilities and services to ensure they have an enjoyable stay. Please note that children under 6 years of age are not allowed to join the game drives due to safety reasons.
Accommodation • Units can accommodate between 1 and 2 children
Children over five are allowed on the first game drive and then it is decided by the guide, parents and other guests if they should be allowed on the usual daily game drives; if not then they are instead taken out on a child-friendly safari.
