Kuredu Diving
This island is home to one of the best house reefs in the Maldives and gives access to another 45 sites within easy boat trip distance

Snorkelling
At Kuredu there is a superb house reef which can be accessed simply by walking into the ocean. For beginners or for orientation it is an excellent idea to take advantage of the free introduction session which gives advice on where to snorkel around the island and get to know the most commonly seen fish. The dive centre also organises snorkelling excursions to other reefs in the area.

Dive Orientation
An Orientation session will allow you to get to know the dive centre and take part in a guided dive on the house reef familiarising yourself with Maldivian waters. You will be able to sort out your equipment and weights and learn safety related matters. This is also an ideal opportunity to learn about the courses and dives on offer during your stay.

Discover Scuba Diving
Give diving a try and see if you like it before committing to a full program. This is the perfect way to learn the basics skills under direct supervision. You will be taught in groups of four or less and your first dive will take place in the shallow lagoon. Soon you will progress to the house reef or other dive sites suitable for beginners. If you realize diving in something you’d like to take up, you can upgrade your Discover Scuba Diving program to the PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver courses and become a certified diver!

PADI Scuba Diver or PADI Open Water Diver
One of these courses will certify you to dive anywhere around the world and are PADI’s most popular entry level courses. The Scuba Diver Course allows you to dive under direct instructor supervision, whereas the Open Water Diver Course allows you to dive independently with a buddy. Both courses consist of knowledge development to understand the basic principles of scuba diving, confined water dives to learn basic scuba skills and open water dives to review your skills and explore. The Scuba Diver Course consists of five dives spread over three days, and the Open Water Diver Course entails nine dives and takes five days to complete.

E-Learning
To save you classroom time when you’d rather be outside on your holiday you can now complete the theory sections of a number of different PADI Scuba Diving Courses online with the PADI eLearning initiative! Once you have enrolled onto your course you have access to all the material you need to complete the theory sections of the course. This convenient way of learning enables you to complete the course in your own time, simply sign up once you have your booking.

Experience
If you are already an PADI Open Water Diver you could choose to enrol in the PADI Advanced Open Water Course or complete the Rescue Diver & Divemaster Courses. Prodivers also offers a range of speciality courses such as Enriched Air Diver, Maldivian Shark & Ray Diver, Underwater Propulsion Vehicle Diver & Wreck Diver.

Diving Check List
If you are a certified diver do remember to bring your dive certification card which must be issued by an internationally recognised institution. Should it be appropriate ensure that you have a signed doctor’s statement saying that you are clear to dive. Scuba gear is available to hire but should you require items such as a prescription mask ensure that you bring it along.

Night Dives
See first-hand the changes that appear under the ocean during the night by embarking on a guided night dive or with your buddy if you are experienced. Apart from house reef dives there are also boat trips to particularly exciting spots close by

Conservation
Endowed with a striking richness of biological diversity Kuredu Resort & Spa fully respects its privileged ocean position. The surrounding reefs are home to diverse coral, a plethora of micro critters and an astounding variety of fish. Sharks and rays are seen regularly while diving and snorkelling, as are dolphins’ leaps and twirls. It will invite you to learn about resident turtles and turtle conservation as well as learn to treat the coral with kindness.
