Lux* North Mali Atoll Resort & Villas, Maldives understand that your holiday is precious time and is fully committed to ensuring a safe, clean & hygienic environment for all guests & staff.

To ensure that you can spend your holiday worry-free, in a safe & relaxing environment the resort has introduced the following measures:

Commitment to Clean

• Tourists will not be subject to quarantine upon arrival and you will not be required to submit any medical tests for entry into the Maldives.
• A health declaration card will be required as part of the on-arrival procedure
• Doctor on call 24/7 and resident nurse present on all properties
• Fogging equipment, electrostatic sprayers, automated sensors and wipes are used to clean all high touch points
• Cleaning and disinfectant cycles are increased to ensure optimal hygiene standards
• All restaurant tables are sanitised between guests and each outlet is thoroughly cleaned after service and tables are social distanced.
• Contactless hand sanitising stations are place throughout the property
• All gym equipment is sanitised between uses and entire fitness areas are sanitised after service
• Sunbeds have been arranged to be 1m apart, follow the marks and signage
• The layout of seats and loungers have been changed at the spa
• Team members wear masks and gloves in all relevant areas
• Daily temperature checks are carried out for everyone accessing the hotel
• A trained COVID-19 officer is responsible for all procedures and regulations
• No buffet-style options as live cooking stations are shielded with protective screens
• Menus are on iPads or can be accessed via a QR code
• Spa – in the changing rooms, clean towels are placed in individual lockers. A disposable face cradle, bedcover, sanitised eye pillow and disposable tissues are provided.
• A biozone mobile disinfection atomiser is in the lobby, common areas and treatment rooms
• Treatment rooms, showers and lockers are cleaned between treatments and therapists wear special disposable gowns
• Gym – Shoe sanitising mat at the gym entrance, please book your time slot in advance
• Private indoor sessions are replaced by outdoor group classes
• Small fitness equipment is individually packed and sanitised

Housekeeping service

• Sanitary wipes and sanitiser bottles in your room
• Each room remains vacant for 24 hours between one departure and the next arrival
• Pedal bin for face masks and other protective gear
• Minibars are empty and can be filled up with your favourite items upon request

These measures are in compliance with the rules and regulations stipulated by the Maldivian authorities; and as the resort treats the health & safety off all hotel guests with the utmost importance, they also reserve the right to open or close, increase or decrease services and facilities as the situation around Covid-19, governmental stipulations and/or business demand develops

• All drink & food is for personal consumptions and not to be shared
• Any food or drink offered to a non-resident or visitor will be charged for
• Does not include take-away orders
• Dining as per hotel schedule and the hotel reserves the right to close one restaurant at any time
• Food & beverage selection is available in all restaurants & bars during operational hours only
