Governor’s Camp

‘Immersed in the Masai Mara’

On the banks of the Masai Mara, Governor’s Camp sits in a location so coveted that it was once reserved exclusively for Kenya’s colonial governors. The river’s waters are filled with birdlife, hippo and crocodile, while the surrounding plains are home to all members of the ‘big five’. The camp is home to a total of 37 tents, each of which feature en-suite bathrooms and private verandahs.

In Our Opinion

‘Surround yourself with nature with a stay at Governor’s Camp, some of the tents even lining the river bank.’

Dining
The camp features an open bar and dining tent with views over the river and open plains of the Masai Mara.
