‘Intimate Lodge; Immersed in Nature'
Sanctuary Baines’ Camp is situated in a private concession neighbouring the Moremi Game Reserve and is the smallest camp in the Sanctuary collection. Raised on platforms above the Boro River, the main area of the camp comprises a swimming pool, sitting room and dining room and connects to only five luxury suites through a series of wooden walkways. At your suite, you can wheel out the four poster bed onto a private viewing deck or sink into an outdoor bath to gaze at the stars above. During the day, take a walk around the bush with elephants and afterwards enjoy a picnic lunch in their company. If not out discovering the wildlife on a game drive, learn how to track and follow the animals of the Okavango Delta on a walking safari. For a unique experience, let yourself be guided through calm waterways and lagoons on mokoros - local dugout canoes; looking out for hippos and crocodiles as you float by.
In Our Opinion‘Opulent suites complete this camp and provide the perfect retreat after a day in the bush.’

Guests at Sanctuary Baines’ Camp can enjoy game drives, walking safaris and mokoro as well as motorised boat excursions.
Led by highly qualified guides, game drives are carried out in customised open 4x4 vehicles and can be enjoyed either in the morning or afternoon. Diverse landscapes such as desert, dry savannah, lagoons and swamps are all situated in close proximity to each other and each provide different game viewing opportunities.
With a walking safari you can learn how to track and follow the animals of the Okavango, offering an educational experience that is much different to being in a vehicle.
Mokoro & motorised boat excursions
When the Okavango Delta is flooded each year, local guides can take you through the surrounding waterways and lagoons on mokoros, local dugout canoes; allowing you to see the bush at a slower pace and through a different perspective. The waterways can also be navigated by motorised speedboats.
