You have the choice of a religious Greek Orthodox ceremony in the hotel’s own chapel or a civil ceremony in the grounds overlooking the sea, and all decorations are taken care of, from flowers to covered wedding chairs for your guests. Your wedding will be officiated by the town Mayor, from whom you’ll also receive a gift to commemorate the day along with honey for you and your new spouse to taste, as is tradition with all Greek weddings. You’ll also receive a complimentary room for the groom on the night before the ceremony and an upgrade to the honeymoon suite for your wedding night.
The moment you arrive, you’ll be greeted by your wedding coordinator, who will talk you through the day and give suggestions as to what she thinks will make it extra special. One of the things which Asher was most impressed with was her wedding coordinator’s attention to detail and her commitment to realising the couple’s dream day.
Some of those extra touches included traditional Greek dancers, who performed between courses at Asher’s wedding meal and got everybody up and dancing on their feet, really helping to create a fun-loving atmosphere, complementing a perfect day. St Nicolas Bay’s staff were really focused on ensuring that all wedding guests were happily entertained throughout the day and their personable service really adds to the overall wedding experience.
On the first morning you wake up as a married couple, you’ll be treated to a champagne breakfast in bed, a complimentary massage and aromatherapy for two at the Poseidon Spa, as well as enjoying free access to the sauna, steam room and gym for the rest of your stay. For your last night at the resort, the inevitable goodbye that you won’t want to say is sweetened by a complimentary farewell dinner with a gastronomic degustation menu, including wine, coffee and liqueurs.
