Sun loungers are scattered across the sands, with magnificent umbrellas offering shade from the sizzling sun, or you can always refresh in the family-friendly Agua Pool. A toddler area beside the pool offers kid-size sun loungers and a gentle play and paddle area so your little sea squirts can keep cool.

For the excitable kids…

No parents allowed! The KidsOnly Club is an exciting tree-house style club where inquisitive kids can join in with activities, games and competitions with their fellow baby-faced guests. Completely free of charge and open daily for children aged 4-11 years, after your day of rest, expect your young ones to come running over eager to show you the piñata they’ve made, demonstrate the Spanish words they learnt in class, or boasting of their triumph at the beach tug of war. During the summer months, additional activity camps are held including pizza making, beach bootcamp, and golf and tennis clinics.

For the pretty young things…

Fresh-faced beauties love to pose, and what better photo opportunity than riding the waves with Tropicsurf? Master the ‘Art of Luxury Surfing’ with some of the world’s best surfers on the rolling waves of the Sea of Cortez – regardless of your age or ability, lessons will be tailored to you, and will help you get the best buzz out of this surfari adventure. Once you’ve channelled your inner beach bunny, head over to the salon for a spruced up style from Beverly-Hills based celebrity hair stylists Jonathan Antin and Amanda George. Young charmers even have their own private grooming studio with Barber&Blade, who offer a specialist menu just for men, consisting of shaving, grooming, facial and scalp therapies.

For the busy mums…

Inspired by ancient traditions and modern result-driven techniques, the One&Only Spa provides the perfect sanctuary to unwind and revamp. Choose from a curated collection of treatments undertaken using ESPA products, or speak to one of the highly-trained therapists to discuss your desired results and create a personalised spa journey. Treatments may include the 2-hour Baja Deep Tissue Pindas Ritual, consisting of a scalp and body massage, gentle stretching and herbal hot stones on the neck and shoulder. Yoga sessions are also offered in the beautiful beachside pavilions, private or as part of a class; selections include couples’ Pilates, prenatal yoga, or weight-loss focussed workouts.

For the sportsmen…

Hailed as the Grand Dame of Los Cabos Golf, the spectacular 27-hole Palmilla Golf Course was Jack Nicklaus’ first signature course built in Latin America. 5 sets of staggered tee boxes line the water’s edge, while 4 glistening lakes and deep shifts in elevation can create a challenge for even the most experienced of golfers! If you’re new to the sport, lessons are available with a PGA professional, while those who would prefer to stand on the side-lines can enjoy tropical drinks from the Mexican-style clubhouse. The following day, perfect your swing with 3 hard courts used in the Australian Open. The soft surface is kind on your joints, while all courts are lit with Grand Slam-type lighting for dawn ‘til dusk play.
