Meet Mickey and Minnie in Walt Disney World
Flight Time from London – about 9 hours
Average Temperature - 23 ºC
If your little ones can’t wait to meet all their favourite Disney characters, then February may be the best time to visit Walt Disney World in Florida. The main pro of visiting in the February half-term is that American children are still at school, which means the parks will be quieter and queues noticeably shorter. There are some fun gentle rides for your little ones and some stomach-dropping rides for your teens as well as Harry Potter World, The Epcot Centre and water parks galore. We offer a variety of hotels in the area close to the parks and villas if you want to have more of a home from home during your stay.
Swim with Stingrays in the Cayman Islands
Flight Time from London - 10 hours
Average Temperature - 25 ºC
The Cayman Islands are a great destination for a family adventure in February as there are some fantastic experiences to be had. These include meeting and swimming with stingray in their natural habitat and meeting blue iguanas in all shapes and sizes all over the island which have been saved from extinction. One of the largest we have seen is at the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Gardens and he even happily posed for pictures.
There is also the chance to horse ride on the beach for children 8 years and older. But, for those too young to scuba dive or snorkel, there is an underwater submarine which goes through the corals. Here, you get to see shipwrecks, turtles, and lots of species of fish. There is also paddle boarding and other water sports to enjoy and the seven-mile beach is a great place to relax, swim and have some family fun time together. Check out our range of hotels, mainly along the seven-mile beach where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.
