Kids love to get wet, especially when the sun is shining. Dubai has water, water everywhere, no matter where you are.

Try Aquaventure at Atlantis the Palm where ‘Splashers is designed for children under 1.2m - there are tipping buckets, climbing frames and 7 water slides designed especially for the younger family members.

Wild Wadi WaterparkTM is themed around Arabian folklore and offers 30 rides ranging from thrill seeker to relaxation. Favourites with the little ones here are the racing slides where they can take on their friends and family.

At La Mer try Laguna Waterpark and near the Marina are Splash Pad and AquaFun. Whatever area you stay there will be splashes nearby.

If your young ones want to keep their feet on the ground but their heads in the clouds, then a visit to VR PARK will literally ‘turn your world upside down’. The virtual reality experiences include:

  • Dubai Drone which speeds you through Dubai 2050 where the sky is filled with traffic.

Wavehouse at Atlantis is an entertainment centre which combines recreation spaces for children, teens and adults – perfect.

If your family is still looking to get wet then the ‘Surf’s Up Wave Rider’ will make them feel 'Akaw' (awesome/cool in surf speak) and if they have energy to expel ‘Levels’ soft play area is sure to tire them out. Make an evening of it and enjoy the live music as well as all the activities.

Grown Ups, you will love, love, love Dubai whether you are looking for fun with friends, romance with loved ones or time out to relax. We recommend you indulge with these adult centred treats.

For a truly special evening book the JA Bateaux Dubai Dinner Cruise.

The luxury boat cruises on Dubai Creek and the experience is enchanting. The twinkly city lights provide the perfect backdrop for romance and if you are celebrating a special occasion be sure to let them know.

Your waiter for the evening will ensure your a la carté dining experience is seamless and between the sumptuous courses you can wander around the boat and enjoy the inspiring architecture which blends and contrasts the old souk buildings with the modern city. There will be plenty of Instagram moments.

Friday Brunch

Friday Brunch in Dubai is an institution. On a Friday the city comes alive at 12.00 as anyone and everyone enjoys some downtime and Brunch can last all day. Don’t think breakfast and lunch, think indulgence and decadence.

Dubai’s hotels and restaurants offer Brunch packages to attract Dubai’s smart and fashionable set, so as well as checking out all the fantastic food on offer check out the people too – after a week of work an epic feast and entertainment extravaganza follows.

Brunch is for adults because it can be a boozy affair and even though it takes place during the day it is an opportunity to dress up and show your style.

  • Saffron Brunch, Atlantis the Palm – Brunch is a party with a live DJ and for guests age 21 and over.
  • Seagrill Bistro Friday Brunch, Fairmont The Palm – Brunch by the pool and on the beach. Mediterranean inspired food and drinks, live DJ and breath-taking views.
  • Maya Mexican Kitchen & Bar – Brunch with friends. Unlimited sharing menu of Mexican favourites and all-day access to the pool and beach.

Spa Experiences

Some of the best spas in the world are found in Dubai so be sure to get relaxed, nourished and rejuvenated.

The list of treatments seems endless so giving your body and mind a little pampering will be easy.

Thinking romance then choose from a cabana on the beach to a Bedouin inspired tent in the desert.

Our choice for romance

  • One&Only The Palm. The spa treatment suites and relaxation pavilions overlook ponds, fountains and courtyards. Until September 2019 the Ultimate One&Only Guelain Spa Escape for two offers a rejuvenating Spa treatment, a private Poolside Cabana and afternoon tea.

Book your treatments in advance – you don’t want to be disappointed.

Bars and Cocktails

A grown-up night out must include pre-dinner cocktails and in Dubai your cocktail will come with a phenomenal view.

For location we love:

  • Skyview Bar, Burj Al Arab – 200metres above sea level on the 27th floor Skyview overlooks the glittering skyline. Intimate spaces and comfy sofas make conversation and relaxation easy.
  • Uptown Bar, Jumeirah Beach Hotel – al-fresco on the 24th floor, this bar has ‘Her Night’ where ladies can take advantage of giveaways and ‘Sundowners’ from 17.00 – 20.00 when some drinks are half price.
  • Fai, Palace Downtown – Encircled by water the Asian-inspired Fai overlooks the Dubai Fountains, lake and Burj Khalifa. Enjoy cocktails overlooking the breath-taking Dubai Fountain sights and sounds show.

Bars and Restaurants will serve all your favourites from Mojito to Cosmopolitan to the Singapore Sling but alongside these classics you are sure to find a Signature Drink that will tantalise your unique tastebuds!

  • Try Coya’s ‘Merienda de Locos’ a Mad Hatter inspired cocktail that mixes the flavours of camomile, cucumber, rose Grand Marnier, gin and a splash of Champagne.
  • At.mosphere offer a Signature Legends Cocktail menu and ‘Galaxy’ is our recommendation – black currant vodka, limoncello, fresh mint, blood orange and ginger. Refreshing!
  • And finally, at 101 the ‘Disco Inferno’ comprises of Patron Reposado infused green chilli, pear and mango juice, it is sure to get you dancing.
