There’s so much fun to be had in Dubai and some fantastic hotels. Here are just some of our favourites that we think will keep your little ones happy and entertained.

Designed in the style of a sheikh’s summer residence, Al Qasr Madinat Jumeirah straddles the line between accessible, family friendly facilities and high-end luxury. Surrounded by waterways and tropical gardens, the hotel features sumptuous interconnecting rooms decorated in regal gold and maroon colours with a balcony.

Did we also mention Al Qasr Madinat Jumeirah has excellent kid friendly facilities? Including a babysitting service, a children’s club full of fun activities like arts and crafts, sports and games. Add to this, plenty of play areas, ice cream classes and complimentary access to Wild Wadi Water Park and you’re onto a winner.

Another hotel with the perfect mix of luxury for you and fun for the kids, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina places a strong emphasis on water sports, with everything from windsurfing, to skiing and kayaking in-between.

The kids’ club here is complimentary and open 7 days a week, with fun games and daily activities. There is a wealth of dining options with special menus and child-friendly opening hours.

Our travel expert Jac Creswell stayed at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi with her son Rocco and loved the personalised treatment from all of the staff. You can read more about her wonderful experiences here.

The uber stylish JA Palm Tree Court is a part of the incredible JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort, awash with beautiful waterfalls and winding paths that run through the lush green gardens.

The resort is renowned for its family friendly nature and features a whole host of child friendly facilities, like babysitting, kids’ play areas and even a fun mini-golf course with 18 holes. The children’s clubs are age specific and cover toddlers to teens.

An iconic landmark located on Dubai’s man-made palm islands, Atlantis the Palm is comprised of two towers linked by an arch, boasting 1.4km of pristine beaches and a 42-acre water-themed amusement park.

Accommodation is of the highest standard, including spacious family suites. More importantly, the children’s facilities are plentiful and fun. The most obvious and incredible of the offerings at Atlantis is the Aquaventure Waterpark full of rides, slides and a private beach, perfect for all of the family.

Further to the waterpark, the hotel also offers kids clubs with creation zones, a pirate playground and a guided tour to discover the lost city of Atlantis, full of incredible marine life. Your little ones can try their hand at cooking and even make their own custom teddy.

Overlooking the waters of the Arabian Gulf at the beginning of the JBR promenade, Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa offers a huge array of family-friendly facilities and a programme of weekly activities. The kids’ club is aimed at ages 4 to 12-year-olds and includes fun things to do like clay modelling, tennis and badminton, as well as an indoor clubhouse and bonfire parties.

On arrival, children receive their own folder with puzzles and colouring books and there are children’s menus available at the restaurants.
