    UK to Los Angeles

    Travel from the UK to the City of Angeles.  Upon arrival at LAX, pick up a hire car and head to your hotel in the great location of West Hollywood

  • Day 2
    Los Angeles

    Spend a full day exploring the large and diverse metropolis of Los Angeles.  From your home in West Hollywood there is easy access to most of the major attractions.  Head to the beaches of Santa Monica or the bright lights of downtown.  Maybe shop like a star on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills or check out the stars on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.  And if all these seem a little sedate, head up to Universal Studios Hollywood to see how the movies are made and ride the white knuckle thrills.

  • Day 3
    Los Angeles to Palm Springs

    Drive distance – 135 miles

    A short drive to start with so maybe you want to explore more of LA, or as you are heading east and out of the city, travel via Anahiem for some time at Disneyland Resort.  Arrive in the veritable desert oasis of Palm Springs with golf courses galore amongst many other activities to fill you day.  If the heat gets too much, ride the aerial tramway to an elevation over 8500 feet above the valley floor for spectacular view.

  • Day 4
    Palm Springs to Las Vegas

    Drive distance – 256 miles

    Today’s drive will take you through more desert scenery on the way to Sin City.  Travel east and north out of Palm Springs.  A little side trip just outside of the city will take you into Joshua Tree National Park before you cross the stunning Mojave National Preserve towards Las Vegas.

    Las Vegas

    A full day to relax and enjoy Las Vegas.  Walk the Strip, gamble at the numerous casinos, relax by the your hotels pool or get more adventurous and take a helicopter trip over the Grand Canyon or see the Vegas strip lit up at dusk from above.  You can find it all in Las Vegas from world class dining to amazing shows from Cirque du Soleil and more.

  • Day 6
    Las Vegas to Death Valley

    Drive distance – 120 miles

    Drive out of Las Vegas into one of North Americas more intriguing National Parks, Death Valley.  With the lowest elevation in all of North America, the Park gets its name from the extremes of temperature when it regularly reaches over 49 degrees Celsius during the summer month making the whole place incredibly arid but is amazingly still home to a great diversity of wildflowers and plants.  Enhance your desert experience with a stop at Zabriskie Point offering spectacular views of the wildly eroded and vibrantly coloured badlands.

    Death Valley to Yosemite

    Drive distance – 326 miles

    A day of contrast as you leave behind the dry and arid Death Valley and head north into lush green Yosemite National Park.   Travel through the High Sierra where Tioga Road, the highest drivable pass in California, leads you into the Park.

    Yosemite National Park

    Get a full day to explore and enjoy the United States first National Park.  Hike amongst the giant sequoia trees or stick to the tourist paths of Yosemite Valley and see the main highlights of El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite and Bridal Veil waterfalls.

  • Day 9
    Yosemite to San Francisco

    Drive distance – 220 miles

    Head back west today and towards the Pacific Ocean.  Cross the Central Valley of California before traversing the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and entering the city by the bay.

    San Francisco

    Spend a day exploring San Francisco. Wander the neighbourhoods of Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown, Union Square, Nob Hill, the Embarcadero, Financial District, and Golden Gate Park. Walk along the railings of the Golden Gate Bridge, take a ride on an iconic Cable Car and a cruise into the bay to see the city from the water and visit ‘The Rock’, Alcatraz Island.
