    Bangkok

    Thailand’s buzzing capital, Bangkok is full of adventure. A good way to experience the city is on a long boat trip along the waterways, taking in the landmarks and getting a feel for daily life. Also not to be missed are the opulent Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Arun.

  • Day 5
    To Siem Reap

    Depart on an early flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you will be met and guided to your hotel. The choice is yours today – either have a rest, or take a stroll through Siem Reap with its pagodas and colourful markets.

  • Day 6
    Siem Reap

    In the afternoon, head out for some sightseeing at the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, which is said to have taken 30 years to build. Stay a little longer and you will be rewarded with stunning sunset views. In the evening, dinner is hosted at a local restaurant serving delicious Khmer cuisine.

  • Day 7
    Siem Reap

    Your day begins with a visit to the ‘small circuit’ temples, home to the astounding Ta Prohm, built in the mid-12th-century. This awe-inspiring temple has been largely left as it was found, with many parts covered by jungle trees and vines. There’re also the Buddhist monastery of Banteay Kdei and the reservoir of Srah Srang.

    After lunch, hop on a remork (similar to a tuk-tuk) and travel to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under Jayavarman VII. As you enter the south gate, statues of 54 demons and gods flank you on either side. Then its onto Bayon Temple in the city centre, with 54 towers carved with numerous faces that represent the provinces of the Great Khmer Empire.

    To Koh Samui

    Depart on a morning flight to Koh Samui. On arrival, you will be met and guided to your hotel.

    Koh Samui

    Thailand’s second largest island, Koh Samui is renowned for its beautiful white sands, and rightly so. Although alongside the beaches, there is much to see and do here. Take a tour of the temples and the 12m-tall Big Buddha, go snorkelling and browse Fisherman’s Village Bophut for some delicious food and gifts.
