  • Day 1
    Cape Town Arrival

    You will be met on arrival at Cape Town International Airport and taken to your hotel on the waterfront. You’ll immediately be treated to stunning views of the marina and Table Mountain and as there’s a complimentary shuttle to and from Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, you won’t have to delay a visit to the shops, restaurants and entertainment area.

  • Day 2
    Cape Peninsula Out & About Adventure

    After breakfast you’ll be taken on a full day tour - Cape Peninsula Out & About Adventure. This exciting day combines hiking, culture, wildlife and wine. The tour starts at Kalkbay, a fishing town loved for fishing harbour and bohemian feel. A gentle hike into the mountains leads you to forest glades of Milkwoods and Fynbos, populated with small mammals and birds. In Simon’s Town and its secret beaches the hunt is on for penguins! Lunch options include fine dining and Salty Sea Dogs, (a local fish and chip shop). After lunch there’s a gentle hike in the Cape Peninsular Reserve, seeking wildlife in shipwrecks on secluded beaches and sheltered coves. A swift ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular takes you up to the Cape Point Lighthouse, which marks the most south-western point of Africa. Meander your way back to Cape Town but not without stopping at Cape Point vineyards for a deserved glass of wine whilst watching the sun set over the Atlantic. You will then be returned to your hotel.

  • Day 3
    Urban & Table Mountain Adventure Tour

    After breakfast your full day Cape Town Urban & Table Mountain Adventure will begin! You’ll explore the Cape Town of today and yesterday; visit the top of Table Mountain, learn how to stand-up paddle and explore the canals. You will go to Sea Point to explore the 11 public art installations that tackle subjects ranging from rhino conservation to the 18 years Nelson Mandela spent on Robben Island. A hike to the Bo-Kaap includes a walk along the cobblestone streets of brightly coloured 17thC houses whilst a cable car up to the top of Table Mountain offers views and a picnic spot. The day ends with the breath-takingly scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, coastal road.

  • Day 4
    Cape Town

    Enjoy a day at leisure doing exactly what interests you. Explore the V&A Waterfront, head down to Camps Bay for fantastic beaches or even get up close with a shark on one of the many cage diving expeditions. The options in this vibrant city are pretty much endless.

  • Day 5
    Cape Town to Franschhoek

    After breakfast you’ll be collected and taken to Stellenbosch in the winelands. En-route stop for the Waterfall Hiking Tour, a short but adventurous trail involving a little climbing and scrambling meandering along the Eerste River which at points becomes your path. After this exhilarating tour you’ll be taken to Franschhoek Country House, situated just 1km from the main town on the outskirts of the Franschhoek Village.

  • Day 6
    Franschhoek Wine Tasting

    Today, after breakfast, you will combine a leisurely horse-ride with a tour of the region’s famous vineyards. Your trek will take you through forests and over mountain passes, stopping off for tastings at Rickety Bridge Winery and Mont Rochelle (a haunt of Richard Branson’s). There will be time to stop for lunch at Paulina’s, with its impressive bistro-style menu and being 250-400m above sea level the views around are quite spectacular. Tours start 08.45 or 13.15 with a total riding time of 2.5 hours.

    Final day

    After a leisurely breakfast you will be transfered to Cape Town International Airport for your flight back home.
