    UK - Colombo - Dambulla

    On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, a chauffeur will meet you and you will begin your journey to the Cultural Triangle. Take in the varied and exciting landscape as you are transported to your hotel for the next 3 nights, Jetwing Lake. Drive time approximately 5 hours. Check in and unwind.

  • Day 3
    Dambulla – Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa - Dambulla

    After and early breakfast your chauffeur will take you on a 30 minute drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous sites.  Spend time meandering through the water garden and frescoes.

    In the afternoon, take the 1.5 hour journey to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Spend time exploring Sri Lanka’s second capital and another of its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, before returning to your hotel. Drive time approximately 1.5 hours. Evening at leisure

  • Day 4
    Dambulla – Anuradhapura - Dambulla

    After breakfast you will be driven to yet another of Sri Lanka’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Anuradhapura was the first capitol of Sri Lanka and home to the oldest historically documented tree on earth. Take time to explore the ancient Buddhist shrines and the Brazen Palace which dates back to 2nd Century BC. Later, return to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Drive time approximately 1 hour each way.

  • Day 5
    Dambulla – Kandy

    Before arriving in Kandy, you will visit Dambulla Cave Temples, another UNESCO World Heritage Site which features a complex of 5 caves filled with ancient Sri Lankan art. On arrival into Kandy, you will be taken to your hotel where you will stay for the next 2 nights. Drive time approximately 3 hours.

    Optional Visit to Matale Spice Gardens where a guide will talk you through the uses for spices such as cinnamon, pepper, nutmeg & cardamom.

  • Day 6
    Kandy

    Following a leisurely breakfast, you will get to explore the bustling city of Kandy and the carvings and art at the Temple of the Tooth on a full city tour. Later, enjoy a typical Sri Lankan show including music, dancing and drumming.

  • Day 7
    Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

    Following breakfast, you will make your way to Sri Lanka’s hill country – Nuwara Eliya. Visit one of the tea plantations and factorys to discover the process of how tea is made. You may even get to sample a cup! Afterwards, your chauffeur will take you to your hotel were the rest of the day is at leisure. Drive time approximately 3 hours.

  • Day 8
    Nuwara Eliya - Colombo

    This morning you will leave for the capital city, Colombo. Relax and take in the scenery before arriving at your hotel. Check in and either enjoy the facilities or go out and take in what the city has to offer. Drive time approximately 5 hours.
