  • Days 1 - 2
    UK to Lusaka
    After arriving at Lusaka International Airport, you will be met and guided towards your onward flight to Mfuwe. From here you will be whisked off to Nkwali Camp in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park.

  • Days 2 - 4
    Nkwali Camp

    Nkwali is in a perfect position to kick off your safari. Depending on time of arrival, enjoy a lunch or afternoon tea overlooking the lagoon. Then it’s time to head out and explore the wonders of South Luangwa. The winding rivers, the woodlands and the ebony groves bursting with wildlife. When evening comes, take in the beautiful sunset views from the bar.

  • Days 4 - 7
    Nsefu Camp

    Nsefu was the first game camp in Zambia and dates back to the 1950s. Still today, the brick and thatch rooms are in the exact same positions, just with some modern upgrades. From the dining area you can watch as elephants make their daily walk upstream. While at night, you can hear the faint sound of leopard lapping away at the nearby lagoon.

  • Days 7 - 10
    Chiawa Camp

    Head south to Lower Zambezi National Park on the Zimbabwean border. This family-owned camp has a real friendly feel. Passionate guides have an absolute love of the area and this is reflected in the daily activities. Whether that be game drives, bush walks, canoe trips or river safaris. The beauty of the area is its diverse landscapes and abundance of big game, with the Zambezi River a hotspot for wildlife.

  • Days 10 - 12

    Your journey concludes at Tongabezi Lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River. Days spent here can be as action-packed or relaxing as you please. Depart on game drives in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park or hop in a canoe to explore the waters. See it all from above with micro lighting or teste your nerve with bungee jumping. Although we wouldn’t blame you for simply unwinding at the lodge and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

  • Day 12

    After breakfast and maybe one last activity, it’s time to head to Livingston Airport for your onward flight.

‘Overlooking the River’

Set by the Luangwa River, Nkwali places you only moments from the action. Activities include day and night drives, walking safaris, seasonal boating and village tours. Six chalets are featured at the camp and each boasts open air bathrooms. Facilities include a bar, dining room and swimming pool.

Chiawa is a family-run and owned camp in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park. It prides itself on its high level of personal attention, with someone always on hand to ensure comfort and convenience. Each of the tents offer views of the river. The culinary team prepare seasonal menus.


Tongabezi Lodge

‘Romantic, Exclusive with Attention to Detail’

The first river lodge on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls; established in 1990 and privately owned and run. The emphasis here is on exclusivity and romance, enhanced by the warmth and hospitality of the Zambian people. Accommodation offered is private, spacious and individual with a choice of styles. Each accommodation comes complete with a dedicated valet who will look after you throughout your stay providing assistance and knowledge.
Although not a ‘big five’ destination a promise of exceptional rhino, buffalo and elephant sightings.
