    Delhi

    Take time to explore Old Delhi, starting with the grand Jama Masjid followed by a rickshaw ride through the winding lanes of Chandi Chowk. Drive past the 17th-century Red Fort and then make a final stop at Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. In New Delhi, stand in awe at the ancient Qutab Minar and India Gate, before heading to Bangla Sahib Sikh temple which feeds thousands of people every day. Finally, drive past the President’s House.

    Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri

    Travel to the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, built by emperor Akbar in 1569. He used the city as his capital and it was fully occupied for 14 years, until Akbar left and it was deserted. Wander the various palaces, then continue your journey to Jaipur. In the evening with your guide, visit a local family who will give you a cooking presentation and serve you dinner, an enjoyable taste of daily life in this exotic city.

    Jaipur

    Head to Amber Fort in the morning, stopping en route for a photograph at Hawa Mahal – a five storey building constructed in 1799 to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch over the city. After your visit to Amber Fort, head to Maharaja's City Palace, the former royal residence which now houses a museum. Later visit the Jantar Manta – the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world. End your day with a cycle rickshaw ride in the bazar of Old Jaipur town.

    Discover the countryside of Deogarh with a train ride on narrow guague rails. The route takes you to Phulad and includes a stop off at Goram Ghat Station where monkeys approach the train in anticipation of food – biscuits and bananas are their favourite.
