Practical Info

  • Days 1 - 2
    UK to Arusha

Arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and guided to Arusha. At the foot of Mount Meru, Tanzania’s capital serves as the gateway to the national parks of the north. Your lodge, set in the middle of a coffee plantation, offers the perfect place to re-charge ahead of your wildlife adventures. The aroma of fresh coffee is never too far away.

    Meals included: Breakfast

    Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge
  • Days 3 - 4
    Tarangire National Park

Head to your lodge in Tarangire where you will be greeted by the smiles of local Maasai tribesmen. This little-known park is often overlooked by travellers, meaning you are free to explore in relative isolation. Get off the beaten track on daily drives and keep your eye out for the large herds of elephants – although they will be hard to miss. Or, ditch the jeep and discover the beauty of bush walks. You can even view the wildlife from your tent’s private balcony.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Elewana Tarangire Treetops
  • Days 5 - 6
    Ngorongoro Region

Your time in Ngorogongo will be spent exploring the crater and Lake Manyara National Park. The result of a volcanic eruption, the crater is full of diverse wildlife, while its rim is made up coffee plantations. This is where your lodge is nestled, housing cosy cottages with big Victorian bathtubs making it easy to switch off and relax. Although with a spa, a swimming pool, and a stable of horses by which to explore the countryside, this isn’t an ordinary lodge.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Elewana the Manor at Ngorongoro
  • Days 7 - 8

Like Elewana’s other lodges, the one in Serengeti offers a distinct look and feel. Inspired by the mobile camps of the 1930s, it features only 12 tents and prides itself on leaving ‘zero footprint’. You are only ever moments from the action, and if visiting during the great migration, could hardly be better placed. While the migration takes centre stage, there is wildlife to view year-round on game drives and walks. Dining under the stars is not to be missed.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

    Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp
  • Day 9

Following breakfast at the lodge, transfer to Seronera airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. From here, catch your return flight home.

    Meals included: Breakfast

Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge

‘Mountain Location, Coffee Plantation’

Arusha Coffee Lodge is on the foothills of Mount Meru in the town of Arusha, amid one of Tanzania’s biggest coffee plantations. Comprising of 30 plantation houses surrounded by the coffee fields, the architecture of the landowner’s home from the 1900’s is the inspiration for the newer accommodation. Plantation rooms include views over the fields and there is an on-site restaurant and outdoor swimming pool for guests to relax in.

Tanzania & Zanzibar

Elewana Tarangire Treetops

‘Enchanting Treetop Lodge’

Elewana Tarangire Treetops sits in an elevated position on the border of Tarangire National Park. The main lodge encases a thousand-year-old baobab tree, while the 20 rooms all offer views across the plains from a private balcony. At 65sqm, they are some of the largest rooms of their kind in East Africa. Whether eating by the pool side or enjoying a lantern-lit dinner in the boma, dining at the lodge is an experience to be savoured.

Ngorongoro Crater

Elewana the Manor at Ngorongoro

‘Old World Charm; New World Hospitality’

In north west Tanzania, Elewana the Manor at Ngorongoro sits adjacent to the Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate. Suites are housed within cosy cottages and each feature an en-suite bathroom with large Victorian-style bath. Private balconies overlook the verdant hills. Alongside game drives, horse riding around the coffee estate, mountain biking and an on-site spa are also available.
