A magical journey, seeing the bears - and plenty more - in their natural habitat provides the holiday experience of a lifetime.

Knight Inlet Lodge floats above water within Glendale Cove and is accessible only by floatplane during a short summer season. Whether it is in early summer, when the bears forage on the coastlines at low tide for barnacles, or at the height of the summer when the salmon return to the spawning channels giving the bears access to thousands of fish, you are more or less guaranteed to see these wonderful animals. Bears are the main reason to travel here, but don’t be surprised to see whales, dolphins, seals and majestic bald eagles grace the cove and inlet.  Combine this with a few days exploring vibrant Vancouver and you can have a truly memorable holiday experience.
