Oahu is probably the most famous too as it is home to the city of Honolulu and Waikiki Beach. Fly from the UK to Maui. The most direct options are from London Heathrow, changing once in Los Angeles or San Francisco. On arrival, make your way to your beachfront hotel.
Maui is the second largest island in the chain and home to a wide range of quaint towns, stunning scenery and fantastic beaches; there will be plenty to fill your days on the ‘Valley Isle’.
Take a transfer back to the airport for a short inter-island flight over to Kauai. Upon arrival, take another transfer to the hotel on stunning Poipu Beach.
Kauai is the oldest and most northerly located of the Hawaiian Islands and due to its age and less volcanic activity over recent times - when compared to Maui and Hawaii – the island is covered in lush green vegetation and is given the name the ‘Garden Isle’.
Another transfer and another short flight – just over 30 minutes flying time – to arrive onto famous Oahu. Transfer to the hotel located steps from world famous Waikiki beach and enjoy the last five days on the chains most populous island.
Home to world famous Waikiki Beach, Oahu offers far more than just surf and sand. Sometimes called ‘The Gathering Place’, Oahu is home to nearly three quarters of Hawaii’s resident population. The location of such a large population, between America and Asia gives rise to a diverse population and a fascinating fusion of east and west cultures.
Transfer to Honolulu Airport for a final, two legged flight home to the UK. Chose to head back straight home or maybe stop over on the mainland to break up the journey. The Californian gateways of San Francisco and LA are the obvious choices but stopover can be taken in New York, Chicago, Denver and Houston in the USA or Vancouver in Canada.

Kauai Marriot Resort is in the Garden Isle on Kalapaki Bay in Hawaii. Comprising of over 120 square kilometres along the southern and eastern coastlines, Haleakala National Park is home to Maui’s tallest peak, three visitor centres and the Haleakala Observatory. An early morning start offers a perfect trip to the see the sunrise at 2970 meters. With hiking trails above the clouds, it is a must visit whilst on Maui.
The Hana Highway has 620 curves and 59 bridges and despite being only just over 50 miles long, it can take two to four hours to drive through the hairpin beds, over narrow one lane bridges and stopping at the many dramatic sites where people will want to pull over for a photo opportunity of the island vistas, rainforest covered hills and flowing waterfalls.
Described as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’, Waimea is located on Kauai’s West side. Over 13 miles long, a mile wide and half a mile deep, a lookout point high above the canyon offers fantastic views over the rugged landscape.
Over 15 miles long, the Napali Coast is Kauai’s famous North West shore featuring emerald green mountains that meet the Pacific Ocean, offering panoramic views, lush green valleys and all manner of waterfalls, hiking routes and secluded beach accessible only by foot or boat.
Everyone knows about Waikiki Beach and chances are most people stay on or very near it. Oahu has plenty of other amazing, white sand beaches including Kailua. Located on a the East Coast, Kailua features over 1 km of soft white sand and abundance of water sports and public facilities.
Scene of the infamous Japanese attack of the US Navy’s Pacific Fleet during December 1941, forcing the US into World War II, this large natural harbour now contains a number of poignant monuments. The most popualr are the USS Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri Memorial.
