    UK to Delhi

    Arriving in Delhi from your overnight flight, you will be met and whisked off to The Oberoi. Your home for the next two nights, this iconic hotel sits in the centre of the city only moments from the action. Take some time to relax, or enjoy an optional workshop on the different types of teas.

  • Day 3
    Delhi

    If you’re an early riser, the morning yoga session is not to be missed. This ancient practice sets you up perfectly for the day ahead – an in-depth tour of Old and New Delhi. Under the guidance of a local expert, visit the impressive Jama Masjid and take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, glimpsing the tiny shops filled with spices and trinkets. Continue to landmarks like Qutab Minar, India Gate and Red Fort. After working up an appetite, the delicious street food is not to be missed.

  • Day 4
    Delhi to Agra

    Take a Gatimaan Express train journey to Agra where you will be met and guided to your hotel. You couldn’t be better placed here. Step out on your balcony and you can see the Taj Mahal! For an extra special moment, have the chef design a special menu just for you and dine overlooking the landmark. On your first day in Agra, explore the chambers of Agra Fort and visit Itmad-Ud-Duala’s Tomb, followed by a tour of Kachhpura village. A friendly local will serve tea and pakoras while telling you more about the area.

  • Day 5
    Agra

    Now it’s time to witness the Taj Mahal up close. Visiting at sunrise, you will avoid the crowds and see it with a beautiful golden glow. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, visit SOS Wildlife – the largest sloth bear rescue facility in the world. Over 250 bears have been rescued from their life of dancing for entertainment, and now live happily together. Also within the same grounds is Sur Sarovar Bird Sanctuary, a haven for flora and fauna.

  • Day 6
    Agra to Jaipur

    On your way west to Jaipur, stop at the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. It was built during the 16th-century Mughal dynasty and then mysteriously abandoned. Your hotel in Jaipur is something special. Built around an 18th-century temple, it’s like stepping into the home of royalty – which is exactly how you will be treated. In the evening, watch a son-et-lumière (sound and light) show with views of Amber Fort in the background.

  • Day 7
    Jaipur

    The colourful capital of Rajasthan state, almost every building in Jaipur is in terracotta pink. It’s even enforced by law. Head out on a full-day tour and watch as whizzing scooters dodge dawdling camels and rickshaws. See the World Heritage Site of Amber Fort, the City Palace Complex, the Jantar Mantar observatory, and the wonderful Hawa Mahal. An optional activity takes you on a walk through the Old City.

  • Day 8
    Jaipur

    On your last day in Jaipur, visit the forts of Jaigarh and Nahargarh. Jaigarh’s cannon was once the largest of its kind on wheels, while Nahargarh Fort sits on the edge of the Aravalli Hills – perfect to just sit and soak up the views. Make sure you don’t leave without trying some of Jaipur’s street food. Tangy golgappas – mmm. Optional activities include a morning bike ride and an evening cooking session.

    Depart

    After breakfast transfer to Jaipur Airport for your onward flight to Delhi. From here, catch your return flight home.
