Days 2 - 3
Samburu National Reserve
Samburu is a unique in many ways. Remote and dry with rugged hills and rolling plains, it is one of the few places in Kenya where you can spot northern and southern species dwelling together. As well as lions, elephant and cheetah, you’ll also find rare species like Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich – known as the Samburu ‘special five’.
On the banks of a river, your small and exclusive camp consists of only 12 tents. You don’t even need to venture far to spot game, as herds of elephants, prides of lion and other wildlife roam freely on the outskirts of the camp. After thrilling days of discovery, dine on gourmet food under the African sky.
