The Masai Mara in Kenya is world-renowned for good reason. It conjures up images of vast plains packed with diverse wildlife, and the Masai warrior culture. It also plays host to one of the greatest wonders of the world – the great migration, where millions of animals cross the Serengeti Plains. If travelling in season, witness this first-hand with game drives from your intimate tented camp. Kandili sits right next to the action with sweeping views and true African hospitality.
After taking in the splendour of the Masai Mara, head east to the beautiful Diani Beach. The white sands and turquoise waters provide a stark contrast to the savannah wilderness.

After touching down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a representative will meet you for the start of your adventure. You will arrive at your lodge in the Masai Mara just in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. This introductory drive will open your eyes to the beauty of the plains and sets the tone for what is to follow.
Meals included: Lunch & dinner
The next few days will be spent exploring the vast Masai Mara. On morning and afternoon game drives, travel across bushes, hills and river crossings on the search for the ‘big five’ of lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard and elephant. There’s also the option of visiting a Masai village to learn more about their culture and way of life.
The Masai Mara plays host to the ‘Great Migration’ each year, whereby millions of zebra and wildebeest cross the Serengeti Plains to access the fresh grass that comes with seasonal rains. There’s not much else that comes close to seeing this phenomenon, and with Kandili Camp’s location right next to the heart of the action, your well placed to witness it first-hand. After a day of discovery, sipping sundowners amid a crackling camp fire offers the perfect way to unwind.
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

The white sand beaches and turquoise waters provide a stark contrast to the vast open plains of the Masai Mara. Rather than game drives, days spent here are rather more laidback, with beach days very tempting.
