  • Day 1
    To Nairobi

    Fly to Nairobi, arriving late in the evening or overnight flights are also available. 

  • Day 2
    To Masai Mara

    This morning visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, one of Africa's most respected animal conservation centres. See baby elephants taking their daily mud baths and spend some time with the staff looking after the orphaned elephants.

    Continue to Wilson airport for a short flight to the wild plains of Kenya, you’ll be met by your lodge guide for a transfer to the lodge, be on the lookout for giraffe, elephant and more on the way. Settle in to the and take in the wonderful views from Mara Bushtops. This afternoon there’s a first game drive with your expert ranger in a comfortable 4X4 – looking out for lion, rhino and thrilling African wildlife encounters, not forgetting the traditional African sundowners.

  • Day 3
    Masai Mara

    Today you'll rise early, to catch the glories of the sunrise and early morning game activity in the Mara, before returning for breakfast in camp. Alternatively you might stretch your legs on a walking safari, before tucking into a Bush breakfast, in our own Conservancy. In the afternoon, you visit a Masai village. This once in a lifetime experience will allow you to interact with the local community, an unforgettable experience. Listen to the Masai-Chief; hear out his stories about their culture, their families and the ever-important question about their livestock. An evening game drive around the Conservancy sets you up for dinner and a night under starry African skies.

  • Day 4
    Masai Mara

    After a hearty breakfast on day two, you head out for a full day’s game drive, broken only by a buffet lunch under a shady tree in the heart of the Mara. On your way home, your driver radios ahead, so that you arrive home to a bubble-filled hot tub, with your choice of aperitif. Then it’s off to a delicious dinner and a chance to swap stories about the day’s sights and sounds. All the while, in the heart of Africa the wildlife in the area is unsurpassed and it’s a perfect location to view the annual migration.

  • Day 5
    To Diani Beach

    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the camp and time to relax at the lodge, you can often see animals congregate at the nearby salt lick. Indulge in an early lunch at the camp before a transfer to the airstrip for your connecting flight to Ukunda. The flight departs at 1400hrs, arriving in Ukunda at approximately 1625hrs – although times are changeable. Upon arrival in Ukunda, our driver will be on standby to transfer you to your beach hotel. Stay on Diani Beach, on Kenya's South Coast, which is known for its white sands and turquoise warm waters.

  • Days 6 - 8
    Diani Beach

    Three more days by the Indian Ocean, or extend your stay for longer. The area’s wonderfully warm waters and exquisite coral reefs provide an ideal environment for an array of exhilarating water-based activities including snorkelling and boat safaris where you can witness the richly diverse marine life for which the southern coast of Kenya is known. Don’t miss the Colobus Conservation which provides a sanctuary for these fascinating endangered primates; the Shimba Hills National Reserve which offers an exceptional and unforgettable safari experience; and the nearby Kisite Marine National Park close to the Tanzanian border.

    Depart

    Transfer  Mombasa airport for your departure flight connecting via Nairobi or the Gulf.

Mara Bushtops

Mara Bushtops boats a sensational location in front of the largest natural salt lick in the Masai Mara and  perched on the side of a hill, with a scenic valley to one side. Set amid the Bushtops private Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara, Activities such as walking safaris, night game drives, off road game drives, sun downers, bush breakfasts are part of the experience. Game drives are conducted in open converted 4x4’s and accompanied by a professional Ranger and local Masai spotter.
