    Take the day to explore Yangon, starting in downtown as you pass the old streets of Town Hall. See the reclining Buddha of Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda and stroll through the park at Kandawgyi Lake. Look out for bargains at Scott Market and then in the evening admire the view of Shwedagon Pagoda lit up.

    Yangon to Bagan

    Depart on a flight from Yangon to Bagan, where you will spend the day exploring by regular or electric bicycle. Ride from downtown to the viewing tower, passing magnificent temples en route. Once there, delight in panoramic views from the temples to Irrawady River. Watch the sun set over the plains of Bagan and then set off back to your hotel.

    Pakokku full day tour

    Head on a one hour drive to Pakokku on the Western Bank of the Ayeyarwady River. Wander through this bustling market town as you pass local artisans making cheroot cigars, weaving and selling Thanaka. The town is also known for its high-quality velvet slippers. Continue to Shwe Ku pagoda and admire the Buddha seated on a beautiful carved wooden throne, before making your way back to Bagan.

    Bagan to Inle Lake

    Following your flight to Inle Lake, take a boat ride across the lake and admire the floating gardens filled with fruit and vegetables. Stop at the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, famed for its five small gold-gilded Buddha images, see the traditional handicraft villages and visit the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery.

    Inle Lake Trekking and Cycle Red Mountain

    Take a boat journey across the lake to Thale U Alemyaung Village. Begin the trek to Intha Village, passing sugar cane, garlic and onion plantations before stopping by a local family home for a refreshing tea and a chat before heading on to a forest monastery. In the afternoon, cycle along the banks of the lake unto the hills to reach the Red Mountain winery. Take a stroll through the grounds and then sample the produce for yourself.
