    UK to Brisbane

    Fly from the UK to Brisbane, available via stopover points in the Middle East or Asia where a few nights stopover can easily be arranged.

  • Days 3 - 4

    Arrive in Brisbane and relax in and around the city for two nights. Brisbane city is booming, whilst there, get to know where the locals eat and drink in the quirky riverside cafes and bars, head to a nearby art gallery or visit the koala sanctuary.

    Up the Sunshine Coast

    Drive distance: 106KM / 66 miles

    Pick up your hire car and head into the wide expanses of the sunshine coast. Crank up the air-con or get a convertible and enjoy the ocean panoramas over the next few days on one of those amazing ocean drives. Stop for view of the unusual Glass House Mountains and arrive at Caloundra, one of Australia’s fastest growing holiday resorts. With a free day in Caloundra you can kayak or go on a boat trip on the protected waterways of the Pumicestone Passage. Head to Rainbow Beach and experience Teewah Coloured Sands on a jeep tour along the beach or even hang glide over the ocean.

    To Noosa’s Natural Wonders

    Drive distance: 56KM / 35 miles

    Drive a short way up the coast to beautiful Noosa, with a wealth of natural attractions between the ocean, lagoon and lush interior. Spot koalas in Noosa National Park, paddle board on the calm river or learn to surf off the shore. Head to Rainbow Beach and experience Teewah Coloured Sands on a jeep tour along the beach or take a boat cruise along the wilderness of the Noosa Everglades. The two nights included here may not be enough!

    Fraser Island

    Drive distance: 193KM / 120 miles

    Head onto Fraser Island, the largest sand island on Earth, with ancient forests, 100 fresh water lakes and an amazing 75-mile beach highway. With an overnight stay on the island, you can enjoy spending the day amid untouched nature and swimming in pristine waters.

    Hervey Bay

    Drive distance: 16KM / 10 miles

    Your adventure along the Fraser Coast continues, with a short drive to picturesque Hervey Bay. From July to November you can take a boat trip to see migrating humpback whales, a wonderful sight in Queensland’s blue waters. The marine life is fantastic, with dolphin watching cruises, sailing, kayaking and jet ski tours, or see Fraser Island from above on a scenic flight. You can even spend a day on the Barrier Reef, with a flight to Lady Elliot Island.  Plenty to see and do during the course of your two night stay.

    Final Day

    Drop off the car at Fraser Coast airport for your departure flight via Sydney back to the UK. You can easily extend your drive up to Cairns and the Barrier Reef, or head to the outback to continue your adventure.
