Travel from the UK to Sydney. Plenty of options available from most departure points across the country, travelling via the Middle East or Asia.
Arrive in Sydney and transfer to your hotel. Located in the heart of the city at Darling Harbour, it is an excellent base from which to explore Sydney. Take an optional harbour cruise with dinner, for thrills there’s the Harbour Bridge Climb, visit the famous beaches of Bondi or Manly, and experience the atmosphere of one of the world’s great cities.

Pick up your car and drive through the exclusive northern suburbs, heading out of the city toward the wild and beautiful Pacific coast to start an unforgettable journey. Stop for a coffee at the ocean café in Terrigal and stop for beautiful sea views and lunch at The Entrance, then head on through Australia’s second oldest city, Newcastle, before arriving at Port Stephens for the next two nights.
A day at leisure to relax around the scenic water ways of Port Stephens. Cruise out on the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean to maybe see some marine wildlife or stay on dry land and explore the wonders of Worimi Regional Park, home to large forests and 32 kilometres of continuously moving sand dunes.

The drive continues along the Pacific, possibly through the scenic Great Lakes region and on to Port Macquarie – take lunch and walk along the breakwater to see the colourful murals and visit the koala hospital for the daily 3pm tour. Continue north along the Pacific Coast and arrive into beautiful Coffs Harbour for a two-night stay.
Take a day at leisure around Coffs Harbour. Relax on the sandy beaches or take to the waves again with popular activities locally including surfing, sailing, diving and fishing. If you want to explore further afield, an hour or so drive from Coffs Harbour brings you to Dorrigo National Park; part of a million-year-old rainforest, with bountiful birdlife and a skywalk through the rainforest canopy.

Depart this morning away from the coast to the pretty city of Grafton on the Clarence River with its jacaranda trees. The remarkable journey continues past the unspoilt beaches by Yamba and Ballina and along the coast where Captain Cook first explored Australia. Why not journey a little inland and visit bohemian Lismore before heading back to the welcoming waters of the Pacific for your final two nights at Byron Bay.
Enjoy one of the world’s most vibrant coastal towns, walk over to the Byron Bay lighthouse, Australia’s most easterly point. This is a true surfer’s town and just a short drive away are the golden beaches of Tweed Heads. With so much to do, as well as just unwind in the café lifestyle, why not stick around.

On your final day of the tour, take a slow drive north along more stunning Pacific Coastal drives, with the options to stop off at the famous Gold Coast and Surfers Paradise. Continue to Brisbane airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
