  • Day 1
    To Tanzania

    Fly overnight to Kilimanjaro airport, connecting in Europe, Kenya or the Gulf. If the flight is very early or late arrival it’s worth adding an extra day to refresh at the Machweo Wellness Retreat near Arusha.

  • Day 2
    Lake Manyara

    Arrive in the north of Tanzania. You’ll be met on arrival and drive to Lake Manyara, a thrilling introduction to the wild north of Tanzania, with views of Kilimanjaro, Lake Manyara and wonderful animal and bird life.

  • Day 3
    Lake Manyara and Tarangire

    Drive into Tarangire for a full day game drive with your guide. The park is named after the river which flows through the park, attracting herds of elephant and plains game as well as plenty of predators. Grasslands, distant peaks and large baobab trees fills the landscape and create that classic East African scene. Return to Lake Manyara and your luxury lodge.

  • Day 4
    Ngorongoro Crater

    This morning travel through Lake Manyara National Park, on the lookout for elusive tree climbing lions found in this area. In the afternoon arrive at the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a prehistoric collapsed volcano and area of fertile land teeming with life. To look down from the crater rim is a unique experience.

  • Day 5
    Ngorongoro Crater

    Spend the full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater on a game drive. You’ll see large herds of zebra, wildebeest and no doubt buffalo, which also attract big cats and hyena. There is even a chance to see rare and endangered black rhino. The crater has its own ecosystem and the scenery is immense and varied.

  • Day 6
    Serengeti National Park

    Arrive today in one of the world most famous national parks. The Serengeti is the African of the imagination – all rolling plains, acacia trees and endless grass plains set against big skies. Add in the Masai culture and the teeming wildlife, it is an al encompassing safari. Depending on the season stay at Elewana Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp. The camps have a zero footprint ethos, getting you as close as possible to the movements of the wildlife.

  • Days 7 - 8
    Serengeti

    Two full days in the Serengeti National Park, with two game drives daily – plenty of change to experience all that this wilderness has to offer. The camps here are designed to reflect the golden age of travel and you’ll be well looked after, bringing comfort and style to this beautiful wilderness.

  • Day 9
    Depart

    Morning drive to Seronera airstrip and fly to Arusha. Here you’ll have lunch at the welcoming Arusha Coffee Lodge. Then transfer to Kilimanjaro for your departure flight.

Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge sits perched on a hill with magnificent views of Oldeani Mountain and the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. The lodge is set on 40 acres of lush gardens and local vegetation, home to over 130 species of birds. Facilities include an outdoor fireplace, infinity pool, media room, billiard room, internet café and children’s activity room. Meals are prepared by local chefs and can be enjoyed both indoors and outside overlooking the mountain.
