    Following your flight to Bumi Hills you will be met for a short five-minute drive to the lodge, set by Lake Kariba. Bordering both Zimbabwe and Zambia, it is the world’s largest man-made lake at 226km long.

    Placed on a remote hilltop, your lodge offers spectacular views from pretty much everywhere. Whether that be the infinity pool, the restaurant or the ten stylishly-appointed rooms. Candlelit dinners are really something special.

    Somalisa Camp

    Venture west to Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park and your camp, Somalisa. Nestled away on an acacia island, it features two separate pools – one for you and one for the elephants. You can watch as they play while having a nice morning dip.

    The park is often referred to as the land of the giants due to its large elephant herds. Although the plains feature lots of other wildlife, and your expert guide will reveal the best places to explore. Plus, local village visits offer an insight into Zimbabwean culture.

    Head across the border to Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia. Your lodge, Thorntree, sits only moments from the stunning Victoria Falls. Alongside visits to the falls, depart on rhino-trekking, game drives, fishing and sunset river cruises.

    Returning from your adventures, the private plunge pool comes in handy. The views aren’t bad, either. There’s also the lodge’s main dining area, infinity pool and sunken boma – the perfect spot for romantic sundowners.

Somalisa Camp sits on an acacia island in Hwange National Park. Famous for its large elephant herds, the park is great for guided walks and drives. The camp features a main decking area with lounge and dining room, as well as a pool overlooking a natural waterhole. Seven tents include en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and a copper bathtub.
