‘Wonderful Food, Wine and Relaxation’
Breckenridge Lodge is in the Omaranui Valley in Taradale, Napier. This is a part of Hawke’s Bay on the lower eastern side of the North Island. Hawkes Bay is New Zealand’s oldest wine region and has over seventy vineyards. Your host is an excellent chef and connoisseur of wines and can recommend local and New Zealand wines from the lodge’s cellar to compliment the meals he prepares for you. Enjoy a wide choice for breakfast whenever you rise and a five course degustation style menu in the evenings. Your room has a combination of comfort and fantastic views of the surrounding rural landscape and vineyards. A swim in the pool, a game of petanque in the grounds or a massage are some of the leisure options on offer at the lodge and golf, fishing, hunting and vineyard tours are some of the activities available nearby.
In Our Opinion‘Here you have the advantage of your host being an excellent chef. He uses organic produce, much from the lodge garden and introduces each of the five dinner courses personally.’
This air conditioned room overlooks the vineyard and rural landscape and enjoys a balcony and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.
