After a few days on the island, head down to the jetty, when the sleek catamaran is waiting to take you to the mainland. Shallow waters and the island of Corfu keep the waters calm, allowing for a relaxing journey. In the background, Corfu disappears into the distance, while the peaks of the mainland part, unveiling serene alcoves where the boat pulls into port. Perfectly timed, the transfer from the jetty pulls up, ready to whisk you to the hotel. Along the journey, breaks in the treeline tease you with glimpses of what makes the Elix so special, but the full extravaganza is only revealed when you walk through the lobby.

When you arrive at the Elix, the check-in desk is on the right. This is important to remember; the view out to the horizon draws you in so much you might just miss the desk. The view stretches out to Paxos, which sits out on the horizon. Once you've circled back and checked in, you can enjoy this phenomenal view from the comfort of your room, or while enjoying a light bite by the pool. Meanwhile, down by the beach, cool cocktails and drinks are served at your sun lounger.
