‘Intimate Luxury; Gracious Living’
House of Waine has just 11 individual rooms and sits in grounds of 2.5 acres luxury; it offers its guests elegant living in a beautiful and modern African setting. You will find rooms and suites, each with their own unique character and named singularly to reflect this, such as – Victoria with a working fireplace and claw-foot bath, Ziwa – the Swahili word for lake reflected in its use of turquoise fabrics. Each element of this hotel has a purpose with the name Waine itself derived from the initials of the family members whose resided here when it was a home and who now run the hotel.
In Our Opinion'A small and unique family run business with service that reflects traditional values; a warm and comforting place to stay'
These charming rooms are individually named with individual style - for example Makani, named after the Maasai word for home and features a portrait of a Maasai Moran (Warrior) by local artist, Phyllipa Marrion. All rooms have slightly different features and finishing touches.
