Floating Villages
See what life is like in a floating village. Each little house is built onto a boat, and locals cook, wash, socialise, and work in this unique environment. This experience will leave you both intrigued and humbled by the way of life displayed here. The four main villages include; Cua Van, Vung Vieng, Cong Dam and Ba Hang.
Halong Bay Beaches
What better holiday activity is there than to find yourself laid across powder-white sand with a dreamy view of the bay? Top beaches in the region include Tuan Chau, Tiptop, Ba Trai Dao, Ngoc Vung, and Soi Sim. The beaches surround the bay, but due to the secluded nature of most of these locations, are reached via local tour boats.
Seaplane Tour
Taking a ride in a seaplane over Halong Bay is one of the best ways to see the landscape in all its glory, as well as to experience the thrill of being up in the air. You can catch a plane from Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi. Enjoy every minute of your birds-eye view across the region while flying.
Grottoes and Caves
Ha Long Bay also has an impressive range of stunning grottoes and caves, which can be found among thousands of jungle-covered peaks across the bay. Varying in shape and size, attractions include Thien Cung Cave (Heavenly Palace Cave) and Dau Go Cave, which you can easily get to from Tuan Chau Port.
Kayaking and Scuba Diving
Home to shimmering blue waters, the calm of these seas make Halong Bay ideal for paddling between the sights in a kayak - sometimes you can even explore the caves too. The most popular areas for kayaking are part of 3 Peaches islets, Dark and Light Cave. The underwater scenery is just as magical, with scuba diving and snorkelling available.
