Red River Cruise
Take a trip down the Red River for unique tour the city. The river has been a key source for trade and warfare throughout Hanoi's history, and provides a fantastic insight into past and present life here. Get on board and see amazing views of the passing landscape as you drift towards the Red River Delta and the sea.
West Lake
As Hanoi's largest freshwater lake, West Lake is celebrated for its vibrant culture and nightlife, drawing luxury travellers to its hip scene. It is a hub for the capital's internationally-renowned restaurants, contemporary bars and shopping hotspots. Head north to Tay Ho to find local artisans, and stop on the way at the Xuan Dieu strip to shop in designer stores.
Enjoy Lofty Views at the Lotte Center
Opened in 2014, the Lotte Center is Hanoi's second-tallest building. The viewing deck located on the top floor of the Lotte Center gives a panoramic perspective of the entire capital. If you're feeling brave, you can also visit the Photo at Skywalk and walk on a glass floor suspended above a jaw-dropping 65 stories!
Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre
This unique theatre was the ingenious idea of creative farmers. With plenty of water due to Vietnam's rice fields, the fields that were no longer used but still waterlogged could be used as an exclusive stage for puppet shows. The renowned Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre welcomes over 150,000 visitors each year and holds four shows each day.
Halong Bay
You can't visit Vietnam and miss out on the opportunity to explore this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site. Halong Bay is a natural phenomenon, home to over 3,000 islands of dramatic limestone formations. Popular activities in this region include rock climbing, kayaking, diving and snorkelling.
