Dallas Museum of Art
Dallas Museum of Art exhibits over 24,000 works from across the globe, making it one of America’s most expensive art museums. Masterpieces cover over 5,000 years of human creativity spanning from the 3rd millennium BC to the present day. Check out highlights like the 11th-century Shiva Nataraja, 14th-century Eros earrings, 18th-century Huntingdon Wine Cistern, and Van Gogh’s Sheaves of Wheat.
Nasher Sculpture Centre
Nasher Sculpture Centre exhibits over 300 modern and contemporary sculptures, paintings, drawings, prints and photographs. Artworks are displayed both indoors and outdoors in a beautifully manicured garden – a unique place to enjoy art. You'll find masterpieces by some of the most important sculptors in the world such as Alexander Calder and Auguste Rodin.
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is an oasis in the heart of the city. Take a stroll across 66 acres of land and wander through 19 perfectly manicured gardens with beautiful water features, striking plants and colourful flowers. It also hosts many cultural events including outdoor concerts, seasonal festivals and other unique events.
The Dallas World Aquarium
With upper and lower levels, the Dallas World Aquarium showcases unique animals from around the world. It’s home to 11 endangered animals like the harpy eagle, Panamanian golden frog, and yellow-spotted Amazon turtle. Dallas World Aquarium also has a 40-foot viewing tunnel so you can watch the tropical fish, rays and sharks.
