When To Visit

If you’re wanting an active holiday or are keen to visit Mount Teide, head to Tenerife in the spring when the temperatures are cooler and the wildflowers are in bloom. During winter, snowfall typically means the mountain stays closed, however, February is the month to visit if you're keen to experience the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnaval.
