Located in South Malé Atoll, Velassaru is a coral island with a house reef surrounded by dive sites. The accommodation, bungalows and villas, sit in the tropical gardens, on the beach or over the lagoon and each features an outdoor terrace/deck for relaxation. The island has many water sports opportunities including diving and dive courses, complimentary snorkelling equipment, kayaks, windsurfing and sub-surface water rockets. The resort has an infinity pool, tennis courts, fitness centre and over water spa. There are 7 restaurants and bars serving food from around the globe including tapas and sushi.
