As the 19th became the 20th century, Chatham Bars Inn in beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts was born and to this day has kept its original elegance and charm. It is home these days to such delights as Stars the award-winning steak restaurant and The South Lounge with its afternoon tea offerings, family board games and perch for relaxing in front of the fire. The outer veranda overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and serves up cocktails and lighter fare during milder months. The classic shingle-style cottages continue the elegance of the main inn and stretch aside a quarter of a mile of private beach and serve you absolutely magnificent ocean views. They’re spaced far apart from each other so you can enjoy absolute privacy in this restful place.
