Cape Town

Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel

In Our Opinion

If you can, book a Garden Cottage Suite — white picket fences, private terraces, and views over the rose gardens make it feel more like a Cape hideaway than a city hotel. Pair that with afternoon tea on the veranda and you’ll understand why “The Nellie” is a true South African legend

Location

Set in the heart of Cape Town, Mount Nelson is minutes from the city’s art, food, and fashion scenes — and only a 20-minute drive from the airport. Table Mountain towers above, while the V&A Waterfront and Museum Mile are close enough for spontaneous exploration.
