Bukela Game Lodge - Amakhala Game Reserve

'African simplicity while never compromising on luxury'

Bukela Game Lodge is a romantic and secluded safari destination tucked away into indigenous trees and bushes at the top of a hidden valley. The tranquil Lodge, suites and luxury tents are the perfect setting for intimate guest experiences.

Game drives are held twice daily at Amakhala Game Reserve Bush Lodges; in the morning and in the evening so that visitors get to see different wildlife. Guests are also welcome to indulge in the sundowner canoe safaris and a cheese and wine boat cruise.

An Initiative of the Amakhala Game Reserve
The Amakhala Conservation Centre is largely funded by the Sindisa Foundation (a non-profit conservation organisation) and has three main objectives:
• To promote environmental awareness
• To identify and support research projects that benefit wildlife conservation in general.
• To encourage and advise on various conservation projects
Following on from the successful re-introduction of 15 species onto Amakhala, the conservation centre continues to investigate the reintroduction of other species like Cape vulture into the area.
