The homestead is a classic Flinders building with thick walls of stone and shaded verandas dating back to 1851 and is truly intimate with just five rooms, each featuring an en-suite bathroom and veranda access. There’s plenty of relaxing to enjoy by the pool or out in nature but the focus here is also on the social experience (there are no televisions, telephones or minibars) so whether over a meal, on a safari or around an evening bonfire, socialising is easy at Arkaba.
