If you only do one thing at Reid’s Palace, make it dinner at William Restaurant. The food is superb, yes, but it’s the combination of Michelin-starred dishes and the endless Atlantic views that really linger in the memory – a classic Madeira moment that feels indulgent and utterly cinematic.

Set just south of Funchal, the hotel is under 3 miles from the city centre and 14 miles from Madeira Airport. It’s perfectly placed for exploring the island’s gardens, historic forts, and dramatic coastline.

Brisa Do Mar
Seafood, fresh local produce, and a relaxed al fresco vibe – perfect for long dinners with friends. Open Friday to Tuesday for dinner.
Pool Terrace
Casual breakfast by the pool with sparkling wine, served daily. Or choose from the all-day dining menu, available from late morning until the evening.
