Sharq Village & Spa, Doha is located on Ras Abu Abboud in Doha, 15 minutes from the city centre and 12 minutes’ drive (11km) from Hamad International Airport.
VARU by Atmosphere (shown on the map) is situated in the northwest Malé Atoll, reached by a 40 minute by speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport.
You can expect to find Persian cuisine at Parisa, international and Arabian dishes at Al Liwan and a fun & modern atmosphere at Iris Doha. There’s certainly plenty of choice to be found but perhaps consider venturing a little beyond tradition with chef-led dining experiences, wine pairings, private dining and brunches – speak to your concierge for more details.
All day dining at Lime & Chili combines sumptuous buffet, live cooking stations, theme nights and grills. Every Friday brings the ‘Indian Ocean Gala Dinner’ with an elaborate food selection, unlimited cocktails and live entertainment. The a la carte restaurants also included (number of visits based on the duration of your stay) are ‘Kaagé’, serving Maldivian cuisine, ‘Nü’, bringing Mediterranean seafood and ‘Charcoal’, the beach grill.
Day One
Board your Qatar Airways flight in London Heathrow for the overnight journey to Doha with one of the world’s finest airlines.
Day Two
Arriving into Doha in the morning to maximise your time, a private transfer will meet you at the airport for the short drive over to Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel where you’ll spend the next 3 nights in a Deluxe Resort View Room with breakfast included.
Days Three to Four
Whilst there are lots of things going on within the grounds of the hotel, including three outdoor pools, a wonderful spa and a private beach, this is a destination that has grown dramatically over the last few years to rival some its Middle Eastern neighbours. You can head to one of a wide selection of museums in Doha, stroll along the Corniche or cause some real damage to your wallet at one of the many shopping malls and souks. Further afield, you can dine in the desert, visit the Inland Sea or even discover Qatar’s mangroves.
Day Five
Today, your private transfer will take you back to Doha Airport for the onward journey across to the Maldives. Upon arrival, the Atmosphere team will assist with getting you to the speedboat transfer across to VARU. You’ll be met at the island where a traditional Maldivian welcome with rhythmic Boduberu drumming will greet you. Your stay here will be for the next 7 nights using an Over Water Villa on the all-inclusive ‘VARU Plan’.
Days Six to Eleven
In addition to the comprehensive drinks and dining inclusions within the VARU Plan, you’ll also find a wide selection of activities within the package. On land you can enjoy the likes of tennis, badminton, beach volleyball, yoga, Pilates and more, whilst in the water you’ll have access to complimentary non-motorised water sports such as stand-up paddle boards, windsurfing, canoes, water bikes and snorkelling equipment. You can also opt to join either a sunset or stargazing cruise excursion or head to the spa for some pampering (with the number of complimentary spa treatments included based on the length of your stay).
Day Twelve
Eventually, all good things must come to an end. It’s time to leave this idyllic setting and head home. A speedboat will take you back over to Male to connect with your Qatar Airways overnight flights back to London Heathrow, via Doha.
We believe that true luxury lies in the details, and it’s only possible when those that matter to you are taken care of personally, professionally, and to the highest standard.
