Rebuilt in 2018, Cheetah Plains is one of the most luxurious and eco advanced lodges in South Africa. Situated within the North-West corner of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, world-renowned for its leopard sightings. The lodge is located one hour and thirty minutes drive from Hoedspruit Airport or a short charter flight to Arathusa Airstrip. Each of the three exclusive-use Plains Houses are beautifully appointed with a lounge, living room, dining area, sundeck with swimming pool, a fine wine galley filled with South African wines, four private suites, two of which are inter-leading and ideal for families, and private staff including a private chef, host, ranger and tracker and a dedicated wellness therapist.
Activities at the lodge include twice-daily game drives in almost silent electric land cruises, bushwalks, guided visits to the local villages, a climate-controlled gym and wellness treatments.

Situated within the north-west corner of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Arathusa Airstrip is approximately a 20-minute drive from the houses (usually provided in an open game viewing vehicle). Hoedspruit Airport takes about one and a half hours drive and allow three hours to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
Please note that Arathusa Airstrip is only open for landing / take off from 11h00 – 15h00 daily.
