Kings Camp is located in the northern corner of Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, adjacent to Kruger National Park. The Timbavati lies approximately 450 km north-east of Johannesburg and this area is referred to as the Greater Kruger Conservancy.
The Camp is a six hour drive from Johannesburg, a forty minute drive from Hoedspruit, a three hour and fifteen minute drive from Skukuza Airport or a one hour and thirty minute direct flight from Johannesburg with Federal Air.

Game Drives
Twice daily, morning and afternoon game drives are led by passionate, qualified nd professional game rangers and trackers in open vehicles, seating a maximum of six guests. You will be served tea, coffee and biscuits on your morning game drive, with drinks and canapés served on your afternoon game drive. Your afternoon game drives get back after dark, giving you the opportunity to spot nocturnal animals, before a delicious bush dinner.
Walking Safaris
Walks through the bush take place just after breakfast, are on request, and are the best way to experience the bushveld from a different perspective. Your knowledgeable ranger will guide you through the fauna and flora, pointing out insects, grasses, trees and the smaller species that are all an integral part of the Timbavati Nature Reserve. For safety reasons, children under sisteen years of age are not permitted on walks.
You are also be able to experience bird watching, photography safaris, Rhino Chipping Experience and Art on Safari with Warren Cary. All are on request and subject to availability.
