White Pearl Resort

‘Rare seclusion, all inclusive luxury. Encounter whales, dolphins and turtles ’

The beach itself is something to behold - miles and miles of white sand stretching far into the distance without a building in sight. If it were only this White Pearl would be set apart but this is combined with cool white, private villas set along the beach and up the hillside with extraordinary views and some direct beach access, not forgetting plunge pool and deck.

Your own personal butler is on hand to offer a true Mozambican welcome and understated, friendly service. This is not a stuffy, suited employee but a part of a gregarious team looking after every detail - always on hand with a cool drink or staking out your own private spot on the beach.

With all this space, there's plenty to do. Linger over a fully serviced beach picnic including the freshest local prawns and fine wine. Take a sea kayak out, and book a marine safari to see migrating humpbacks and dolphins. From November sea turtles arrive at nesting site next to the resort. It's a truly magical place off the beaten track and long may it say that way.

In Our Opinion

‘Go to experience something increasingly hard to find. Utter seclusion on one of the world's best beaches, a refined boho style with impeccable service, delicious fresh fusion cuisine and tempting extras. Whale watching, trips to look for elephant, it is indeed a previous pearl of a place.’

See the Turtles

Between the months of November and February each year, Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles head to the surrounding stretch of coast to lay their eggs. Turtle walks allow guests to experience this sight and a section of each fee paid for the walk gets donated to research and conservation initiatives in order to protect the turtles.

Ocean Safaris

The first ocean safari offers guests the opportunity to snorkel to a nearby reef before interacting with bottlenose dolphins – known for their therapeutic effects on humans. A maximum of eight guests are allowed per trip and interaction is strictly monitored in line with conservation guidelines.

The second ocean safari takes place from July to November each year, when the humpback whales visit on their annual migration. The whale watching offers guests the chance to observe whales from a snorkelling boat, with the possibility of spotting new-borns in the later part of the season.

With miles and miles of beach and space aplenty, White Pearl Resort is a place where families can spread out  with peace of mind. It's a perfect place to connect with wildlife and get away from the modern world - even though there's still wifi and tv if you want it!
