‘Meaning ‘endless plains’ in the Maasai language’
Lemala Nanyukie Lodge is located in the eastern Serengeti National Park with outstanding views across these fascinating ‘endless plains’. This area of the Serengeti is crossed by the annual wildebeest migration but also has high-density game-viewing and is well-known for its large concentration of cats, and was set aside for scientific research into predators until recent.
Lemala Nanyukie is open year-round and offers fifteen luxurious tented suites. The main area features a comfortable lounge and bar, outdoor viewing deck leading to a refreshing swimming pool, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. There is also a separate spa tent, among the trees, offering secluded relaxation.
The dining tent allows guests to enjoy their meals in a communal style, giving everyone time to catch up on the days activities, meet new friends and share their experiences.
Alternatively weather permitting, dining outside in the shade for lunch or under the stars for dinner whilst listening to the African sounds is something quite spectacular, nothing beats meals taken outside under star lit skies.
Meals are varied to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.
