Seven Seas Prestige™: A New Era in Ultra-Luxury Cruising

Set to launch in late 2026, Seven Seas Prestige™ will both expand the Regent Seven Seas fleet and redefine what a ship can be. Think of her as the architectural expression of everything loyal guests already love, with just enough evolution to keep things exciting.

For those of you who’ve sailed aboard Seven Seas Explorer™, Splendor™, or Grandeur™, here’s your benchmark: Seven Seas Prestige™ is around 40% larger in volume, and yet she only adds 72 more guests. That alone speaks volumes about the direction Regent Seven Seas is going with its first new class in over a decade: generous space, intelligent design, and meaningful enhancements that put the guest experience front and centre.

More Space, Not Just More Ship

Yes, she’s bigger. Yes, she’s beautiful. But the Seven Seas Prestige's™ size isn’t just about scale – it’s also very cleverly about proportion. Despite the larger footprint, the ship will accommodate just 10% more guests than Explorer class, meaning you’ll feel the difference in every corridor, dining room, and suite balcony. Especially the balconies.

The midsection of the ship has been cleverly “pushed out,” a design choice which results in some truly expansive balconies – particularly those in the new Penthouse-level categories. One of the standout features? The Horizon Penthouse, which feels more like a private seaside villa than a suite on board a cruise ship. You’ll find sun loungers already placed and perfectly positioned, and square footage that simply makes you want to stay in and appreciate it – slow mornings with room service and a sea breeze.

A Fleet Fully Balcony-Focused

When Seven Seas Prestige™ enters service, Regent Seven Seas will officially become a 100% balcony cruise line – something no other major luxury brand can currently claim. With the departure of Seven Seas Navigator™, every ship in the fleet will offer nothing but balcony suites. And there’s a quiet, poetic nod to the departing vessel in Galileo’s – a brand-new bar concept with a layered, glamorous design that feels like a love letter to that much-loved ship.

Suites That Feel Like You Live There

There’s always been something quietly and warmly residential about Regent Seven Seas interiors, and that philosophy is pushed even further on board the Seven Seas Prestige™. If you’ve ever walked into a suite and felt like you’d moved into a penthouse for the week, this is that… only amplified.

There are an incredible number of suite categories - we’ll go into a little more detail below - but the Skyview Duplex Suites are real showstoppers for us, with two full floors and rooftop-style terraces that completely change how you interact with the ocean. And at the very top of the ship: the reimagined Regent Suite. Home to an in-suite spa, a wraparound terrace, private dining, and artwork that wouldn’t feel out of place in a Mayfair townhouse, it sets a new bar for Regent Seven Seas – a brand that we didn’t think could get much more lavish.

The entry-level Deluxe Veranda Suites are also worth noting — updated with polished marble, plush European king beds, and elegant lighting details. Perfect for couples who want understated luxury that still feels incredibly spacious.

  • Skyview Regent Suite: The largest in Regent’s history, this duplex is a dramatic floating penthouse boasting up to 3,703 sq ft of wraparound terrace, an in-suite gym, a sauna, a formal bar, and two bedrooms.

  • Skyview Duplexes (Aura, Luna, Solar): These showpiece suites feature two levels and rooftop terraces, marrying indoor elegance with open-air living.

  • Grand Loft Suite: Two-storey designs with bedrooms perched above communal living areas, offering extraordinary ocean-to-ceiling views.

  • Horizon Penthouse: 697 sq ft suites with 236 sq ft balconies, sun loungers included. Designed like private beach villas at sea.

  • Regent Suite: A reimagined signature – a modern residence with 2 bedrooms, lush entertainment spaces, and elegant finishes.

  • Deluxe Veranda Suites: Spacious and thoughtfully updated with refined textiles, marble bathrooms, and European-style king beds. Perfect for couples and multi-generational travel.

Dining, Reconsidered and Reimagined

The seven onboard dining experiences blend the familiar with the new, and each one has been rethought to feel a little more intuitive and fluid:

  • Compass Rose, the crown jewel of dining on any Regent Seven Seas ship, has swapped places with the spa. Now located at the aft of Deck 5, it includes a beautiful outdoor terrace. Perfect for post-excursion late lunches or starlit dinners.

  • Pacific Rim has been relocated to the Sun Deck, finally giving it the ocean views it deserves. Walking in, you’re greeted by a dramatic art installation, and once inside it’s easy to forget you’re on a ship at all. The entire space evokes an upscale Manhattan sushi lounge, not a themed onboard venue.

  • Azure is Prestige™’s new Mediterranean small-plates concept. Inspired by mezze culture and designed for shared dining, this is not a ‘simple’ three-course meal. It’s relaxed, communal, and full of flavour, with chandeliers hanging above that mimic olive tree branches. Come with friends or join a hosted table of six and share everything.

  • Prime 7 gets a moody, masculine Chicago-style refresh, while Chartreuse brings a lighter, brighter French ambiance of white marble, signature green flourishes, and a feeling of elegance without heaviness.

  • La Veranda → Sette Mari, the buffet by day and a la carte by night, has a much larger outdoor terrace with better shelter. Even on slightly breezier evenings you can dine alfresco without your napkin taking flight.

  • And Coffee Connection is far more than a grab-and-go stop. Think daily newspapers, fresh pastries, light bites throughout the day, and a dedicated puzzle table for the quietly devoted guests who like to make it their daily ritual.

The Spaces People Really Use, Reimagined

The Constellation Theatre returns as the ship’s entertainment heart – two tiers of art deco-inspired seating and nightly Broadway-style shows. New banquette seating near the front now includes built-in tables, making it easier to enjoy a pre-dinner drink during the show without juggling glasses.

The pool deck also sees meaningful enhancements that will make a real difference to the experience: wider shaded areas, large retractable canopies, and a grand central staircase that replaces the old spiral design. The pool itself? Almost double the width of the Explorer-class pools.

And for the cigar lovers, the Connoisseur Club remains one of only two onboard smoking spaces. Open 24 hours, this dark-wood, clubby retreat pairs whisky with conversation – a hidden gem for those in the know.

Q: How big is the Seven Seas Prestige™?

A: At approximately 77,000 GT, she’s about 40% larger than Regent Seven Seas’ Explorer-class ships, but only adds 72 more guests. She’ll have one of the best space-per-guest ratios at sea.

Q: What will the vibe be like onboard Seven Seas Prestige™?

A: Chic, elegant, and refined without ever being stuffy or overly-formal. With more light-filled spaces, shaded poolside lounges, and intuitive service, Prestige has a more of residential feel that Regent Seven Seas has favoured in their latest additions – like moving into a private club at sea rather than staying in a museum.

A: Absolutely. With strong early interest and limited top-category suites, pre-registration ensures early access to the suites you really want before they’re snapped up.

Final Thought

Seven Seas Prestige™ is a shift in tone – bolder, brighter, and more personal than any vessel that has preceded her. For past Regent Seven Seas guests, she’ll feel like a natural evolution. For newcomers, she may just ruin you for any other cruise line…

Pre‑register now to be among the first to sail this beautiful new chapter in ultra-luxury travel. This one’s going to sell out fast.
