Popular with Moroccan holidaymakers, El Jadida has a history with Portuguese and Jewish influence. The old town has remained largely undisturbed although, of late, it has seen development, especially in the church, which will soon open as a hotel. Outside the town you will find the palatial resort of Mazagan, with its golf course, casino, spa and children’s clubs, which takes full advantage of its magnificent beach. The old fort is definitely worth a visit, as is a walk around its historical twisting streets. We think you’d particularly enjoy this destination either side of July and August, when the beaches can be packed.
'Regal yet contemporary golf resort'
Part of the prestigious One&Only brand, Mazagan Beach Resort is a luxury Morocco destination within the historical resort of El Jadida. Guests can enjoy a first rate golf course and sumptuous spa on the property whilst rooms exude Moroccon grace and are adorned with artworks from local painters and photographers. Younger guests are well catered for in three separate kids clubs and club lounge access can be added to any room type making it an accessible and worthwhile inclusion.
We believe that true luxury is only possible when all the details – the ones that really matter to you – are taken care of personally, professionally and to the highest standard.
