Niagara Apothecary Museum
Delve into a time when you popped along to the apothecary for all of your ailments. This fun museum is an authentic recreation of an 1869 pharmacy, and the beautiful building it is housed in, with its Italian-inspired twists, is a great example of eclectic mid-Victorian architecture.
Fort George
See history replay itself before your eyes with a trip to this fascinating attraction. Watch red-coated soldiers re-enact the War of 1812 at Fort George, then have a go at firing a musket yourself, and learn about the history of the people that built the town. Be sure to sample a few 19th century treats cooked over an open fire.
Niagara River Parkway
Beyond the charms of the town itself, you'll find that Niagara-on-the-Lake is also the starting point for a wonderful winding trail that takes walkers through some of the area’s most scenic spots. Pop on your boots, and set out on a trip to Chippawa, Queenston and Niagara Falls, a relaxing route with great views of the Niagara River.
